Remy, formally known as Jonz Huzzah Scherzo had a great weekend. He went to the United Kennel Club Show and came home with a Group 1 and a Reserve Best In Show. Remy was handled by his owner Michelle Alameda. Remy is Ch Joey's nephew, his mother is Joey's litter sister. Not only does Team Remy excel in the conformation ring (he has 8 AKC points), they also compete in agility.
Morgan is happy to announce that he is officially known as Captain Morgan of the Bluffs CGC, TDI. CGC stands for Canine Good Citizen and that means that Morgan had to take and pass a 10 part test given by an evaluator approved by the American Kennel Club.
And TDI stands for Therapy Dogs International to obtain this certification he had to complete an even more complicated test. This title qualifies him to go to work as a therapy dog in nursing homes, hospitals and just about anywhere else that his services are need.
And if that were not enough, Karen & Morgan competed at the South Coast Agility Team Trial last weekend were quite successful. I am not sure of all the titles that Morgan won, however he did take home a bunch of ribbons! I am sure that Karen will update me. These two are proving to be quite a team.
The pictures of Morgan were taken by the talented Trista Hidalgo of Dynamic Dog Photos.
I love this dog! And I know that I say it a lot, but I really do. One of the things that I love the most about Joey is how much he cares about his family, human and canine. When you take Joey for a walk and he is in the lead, he will always stop periodically and make sure that the whole group is following. If necessary, he will go and round up any stragglers.
The care, concern and love that he shows for his puppies is also amazing. Most male dogs do not have an interest in their offspring. Joey does. When Sandi and I were vaccinating Joey and Cricket's puppies, Joey would sit by the door and was noticeably concerned about what we were doing.
When his pups come to visit, he will bring them toys, play with them, and sleep with them. In my eyes, he deserves Father of the Year!
Born at 10:50 am today a beautiful Tri Girl weighing 8. 8ozs. Joey thinks that this lovely little girl should be named "Daddy's Girl". More to come!.
And her 2nd, a 8.6oz Blenheim Girl.
Number 3, a 8.2oz Blenheim Girl
Ruby has obviously been "thinking pink"!
And a 8.8oz Blenheim Boy for number 4
Followed by a 7.9oz Tri Boy
Another little Tri Boy 7oz exactly
Ruby is taking a break, having a little snack and getting ready for Number 7!
It's late and Ania has weighed puppy number 7 three times, checked the scale and this Tri Girl weighs 9.6oz!
Ruby is doing well and taking a well deserved rest. She definitely has her paws full!
Unfortunately despite all the best care given to Ruby and her puppies we lost the 3 little boys to puppy fading bacteria. Ania was able to save the 4 girls and they are doing very well.
and it looks like Ruby is expecting 7 babies!!!! Ruby is in great shape and doing well. I am so excited that I just want to hop on a plane and help Ruby & Ania whelp these puppies!
Joey and Ruby are proud to announce that they are expecting puppies!!! A few puppies may be available to the worlds most perfect homes, if interested you can email me at dogslovemoe@aol.com.
