We are pleased to anounce that our lovely little Katie is now Madison.  She is pictured with her new Mom Dion.  We are so pleased that Madison will be going to such a wonderful new home.  Susan will be taking her there in the next few weeks.  Meanwhile Dion has been coming to spend time with Madison to make the transition as easy as possible.

We Are Celebrating Today!! The Smokin Babes: Amber, Trotter, Sapphire and Babe Are Celebrating Their First Birthday!!! And Amber's Mom Nicole Graduates From UCI!!!

We couldn't be prouder or happier for all of them.  Today Amber is going to be pictured so she can send out a huge Shout Out to Nicole.  Nicole and her family have been a wonderful home for Amber.  Happy Birthday Amber!  And Nicole enjoy your day and Congratulations on your graduation!!!

This very clever Cavalier smoked the course with Karen and now has added the title AKC Novice Standard to his resume.  All of us could not be prouder of this very talented team!

Meet Kirby~ A Rescue Cavalier That Is Looking For A Forever Home.

KIRBY

Kirby is a dignified, approximately 9-year-old tri-color male who is now ready and willing to enjoy the good life at home with you!

At the end of 2008, Kirby was removed from a shed housing around 70 dogs. Despite this sad upbringing, Kirby still retains that sweet Cavalier nature!

Although he wasn’t abused, his teeth were badly neglected. After entering rescue, he had all but 3 teeth removed. (He was neutered at the same time.) He is stiff when he walks, but gets around fine. Kirby does have a grade 3 heart murmur which is not unusual for his age.

Even with only 3 teeth, he LOVES to eat! He prefers kibble over canned food; and is able to maintain a healthy weight of 14 pounds without any problem.  His foster family feels that Kirby would prefer being with another dog or two. He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs--although he does appreciate having his own private space (his soft crate is a favorite). Cats also seem to be acceptable to him.

He is proud to have caught on to house training, (but a regular schedule will ensure his continued success) He’s a very sweet dog who is easy to have around!
