What A Wonderful Weekend ~

We had it all.  Three holidays, the Tet Spring Festival and New Year, Valentines Day and Presidents Day, and beautiful sunny weather!

We decided to kick off the weekend to The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, which just happens to be one of my favorite places.

And as luck would have it we made it in time for their Open House for their Chai Teas.  I sampled the the Chai Rooibos and now have a new favorite!

Then off to the Irvine Central Bark Park with all three in tow.

Pickles found a great place to roll in the grass.  I am not sure that I want to know what she was rolling in, but it was her holiday.

Olivia opened up and enjoyed running in the open space.

And well, when Winston was done checking the perimeter for escape routes, he decided to get some cuddling from Daddy.

 
  
 
 

Mission Accomplished~

We made it right before the rain started to the Orange County Animal Care Center.

Thank you to everyone that helped.  With all of your donations of blankets, towels, and beds there are going to be over 50 animals that will be more comfortable during their stay at the shelter.

Since this was such a fun and easy project, I will be collecting items all the time for the shelter.  So feel free to contact me when you are ready to have them picked up.

If you do not live close by, there are many shelters that are in just as much need as the one in Orange County.  I am sure that if you contact them they will be happy for your donations.  And I can guarantee that you will feel great too!
 

Punxsutawney Phil Sees His Shadow! We Are In For A Long Winter.

And it is not hard to believe in the little guy with all the rain that we are having!  Hope you and your little ones are staying dry.

If You Are Thinking Of Getting, Looking Or Have A Cavalier? Then This Is Where You Need To Be.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Southern Californiais having it's Valentine's Potluck on February 10th at the Pasadena Humane Society starting at 7 pm.  This is a General Meeting so everyone is invited.

Not only is there great food and lots of fun, but it is the perfect time to learn more about this wonderful breed.  You will have a chance to meet many different breeders and Cavalier lovers in a social setting where they are much more relaxed than at a show.
