Mission Accomplished~

We made it right before the rain started to the Orange County Animal Care Center.

Thank you to everyone that helped.  With all of your donations of blankets, towels, and beds there are going to be over 50 animals that will be more comfortable during their stay at the shelter.

Since this was such a fun and easy project, I will be collecting items all the time for the shelter.  So feel free to contact me when you are ready to have them picked up.

If you do not live close by, there are many shelters that are in just as much need as the one in Orange County.  I am sure that if you contact them they will be happy for your donations.  And I can guarantee that you will feel great too!
 

Blanket Drive For The Orange County Animal Shelter Continues!

Doesn't every dog deserve to be as comfortable as Amber & Nina?

With the buckets of rain coming down, the Orange County Animal Shelter needs blankets, towels and comforters more than ever.

With the rain comes a deluge of stray animals, animals that have escaped their yard due to fences falling and loud noises as well as a slowdown in adoptions.  So need the for blankets goes way up.

You can help by bringing blankets, towels and comforters to the following shows if you are attending them:

January 21-23 blankets can be dropped off at the Moe Toys  and Davis Animal Products booths at the Winterfest Dog Shows (all 3 shows are at the same location) in Ventura.

January 29-30 blankets can be dropped off at the Moe Toys and Davis Animal Products booths at The Orange Empire Dog Club Shows(all days at same location) in San Bernadino.

More locations will be announced in February.  If you are in Orange County arrangements can be made to pick up these items.

If you would like to make a donation by Paypal, so that blankets can be purchased that can be done also.

Special thanks to the Orange Crush Flyball Team for kicking off our Blanket Drive last weekend.  Over 12 blankets were collected.  So thanks to you there are some dogs that are a little bit warmer riding the storm out.
