Wishing Pickles And Her Daughter Cricket's Puppies A Very Belated Happy Birthday!

Where did the time go???  And how did these birthdays slip by??? I really can't explain.

It just doesn't seem like all these puppies should be another year older.

Thank you to all of you for keeping in touch, sending pictures and giving us updates on what you and the pups are doing.

And to the puppies, we miss you and you have made us very proud!  And to your moms, we love you both dearly and wouldn't have missed a moment with you and your families.

And to Joe Jr, keep those pictures coming.  When I look at you I see your father Joey in your eyes and he is smiling down on you and your litter mates.

More Good News~

Congratulations to Sandi & Cricket, last Sunday Cricket passed her test to qualify to be a Therapy Dog.  We are very excited about their accomplishment.

And we are even more excited that this is turning into a family tradition, Pickles passed her Therapy Dog test while she was expecting her puppies, and 2 of those pups, Captain Morgan and Cricket have gone on to do it on their own.  We couldn't be any prouder.

Cricket is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  She has excelled at everything that we have asked of her.  A joy to live with and a wonderful mother - she is all that a Cavalier is meant to be!

Cricket has been a fabulous mom.  She has been amazing with her puppies.  She runs, plays, brings them apples, supervises their play and teaches them what they need to know to be great Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I think that this picture really captures her sweet spirit.

Now that the puppies have gotten a little older, Cricket has decided that it is a little safer to supervise  them from a bit more distance.

  Cricket is doing a great job with her puppies.  She cleans, helps feed, supervises, plays and teaches her puppies all the things that they need to know in order to be Great Cavaliers.

Here is another picture that was on that roll of film.  This one shows Cricket checking out her ultrasound at the begining of her pregnancy.  At that time we thought she was having 3-4 puppies.  She sure surprised us a few weeks later!  Rich is just beaming, he was so excited with the good news.
